With more than 20 years of experience in public relations, Cathy-Anne has held agency and corporate roles prior to launching BlueSky in 2002. With an entrepreneurial passion and excitement for building a business, Cathy-Anne leads a team of communications professionals, content creators, social media experts and digital strategists who excel at bringing brands to life. Working with high profile Canadian clients such as RBC, Bell, Ryerson, The Ontario Hospital Association and The Toronto Star, Cathy-Anne and her team execute communications strategies that establish clients as an authority in their industry and further their business goals. Cathy-Anne is also an Advisory Group Member for Women in Philanthropy for Providence (WIPP) Healthcare Foundation. Cathy-Anne lives in The Beach with her three children and husband.
Julie McCarthy

Julie’s career started in some of Toronto’s biggest advertising agencies, managing accounts
such as Apple Canada, Lexus and Shoppers Drug Mart. When the opportunity came to join her sister in building a PR business, she jumped at the challenge. Nearly twenty years later, Julie’s client list includes renowned Canadian brands across various industries – from finance to non-profit. Her knowledge, coupled with strategic-thinking, creativity and enthusiasm, help deliver the sharp insights and service that clients expect. Julie draws inspiration from her two young boys and husband, who live in Toronto.
Sarah Turnbull
Senior Director
A savvy PR strategist who has been in the business for more than a decade, Sarah provides clients with unique insight and big picture thinking when recommending a communications strategy. As a long-term BlueSky team member, Sarah is one of the reasons our clients stay with us for years. Sarah is raising two young daughters with her husband in Toronto and can be found on weekends frequenting farmers markets in the city’s east end.

With a well-rounded background in marketing, communications and magazine publishing, Federica brings an integrated approach to our content, branding, and creative. Her talent for narrative helps build brands with on-point, impactful content and strategic execution for a wide range of clients, from financial and professional services to lifestyle and retail. A fan of the food and drink scene in any city, she’s always dreaming up her next travel adventure.
Dan O’Brien
Director, Public Affairs & Government Relations
Dan has over 15 years of experience in government relations and public affairs, having served five years as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition at Queen’s Park. He possesses insider knowledge of legislative and political affairs and has key contacts at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. A honed communications strategist with extensive media relations experience, he understands how to tell the client’s story to the public.
Arbaaz Ghani

Arbaaz has always been captivated with the media and influencer / content creator landscape and has explored various areas of the industry from government relations to marketing before finding his passion in PR. He is a jack-of-all-trades and uses his PR skills, eye for design and social media savvy to tell stories and build brands. He has a diverse background, spanning everything from finance to fashion – delivering exceptional results for his clients, from executing show-stopping events and influencer campaigns to securing stellar media coverage.
Jane Lee
Digital Communications Manager
A creative and analytical thinker, Jane brings a results-driven approach to public relations. Beyond her core skill set, which includes media relations, content development and influencer relations, she has the ability to survive and thrive in the ever so often chaotic PR industry. Jane is passionate about providing brands with opportunities to make meaningful connections with their audiences through storytelling, and has the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of her clients. Outside of the office you can find her scrolling through recipes before she caves and orders through UberEats.
Elizabeth Glassen
Account Manager
Elizabeth is an experienced public relations professional with nearly a decade working in the industry. Her experience includes working with national and international clients across a range of sectors and industries such as medtech, biotech, pharma, consumer, and financial and professional services. A results-driven strategist, Elizabeth is passionate about promoting brands in an impactful way that resonates with their target audience. When not at her desk, Elizabeth can be found working on her many creative hobbies or hanging with her dog, Hunter.
Bojana Duric
Account Manager
With a background in journalism and copywriting, Bojana is a creative storyteller at heart and has worked with various national and global clients in the financial and professional services, arts, non-profit and architecture. Over the years, Bojana naturally stepped into the world of PR and has developed and executed content strategies, PR campaigns, and brand-building initiatives for a wide-range of clients. When out of office, you can find her wandering around an independent bookshop, usually with a flat white in hand, or running by the lake.
